On Jan. 24, Li Changrui, President of Shanliao New Village Promotion Committee, on behalf of Li Weibo, permanent honorary president of Shenzhen Li Weibo Foundation, extended new-year wishes to Shanliao Primary School and Residents of Shanliao Village. Scholarships totaling RMB 40,000 were given by the Foundation to teachers and students wining the first, second and third prizes. Additionally, a monetary gift of RMB 800 was offered to 50 senior villagers at the age of 60 or above, and another monetary gift of RMB 500 was given to every household in the village.
